Projects for clients

We supported the project from the very beginning and handled product safety in accordance with the Machinery Directive and compliance with relevant technical standards. We also prepared user-friendly safety arrangements and created technical documentation as well as acceptance documentation. Client feedback: SYSTENT provides both expertise and trust. Thanks to expert, professional support we were able to have our product certified without any major hurdles. The advantage of using a consulting firm like Systent is that their advisers are always on hand when problems arise. This means they’re also a huge help in any early development stages. You need a service like this in today’s world because standards and guidelines are constantly changing as technology continues to develop at breakneck speed. We will certainly be using this type of service again in the future for other projects.

Project description: Seik Ltd was commissioned to develop and build a crane system that would be used to construct a railway bridge over the Chenab River in India. The company developed a system that allowed components weighing up to 400 kN to be transported to the construction site. These parts were lifted over 500 metres above the surface of the water. Projects of this scale are extremely complicated for everyone involved and it was a challenge to coordinate the wide variety of requirements and process all the necessary information so that it was available on time. Approach: we supported the project from the very beginning and handled project management, product safety in accordance with the Machinery Directive and compliance with relevant technical standards. We also created technical documentation, prepared technical approvals, scheduled acceptance by the end client and created acceptance documentation.

Our tasks were to inform the constructors of all the safety regulations that needed to be considered (right at the very beginning of the project, i.e. the start of the planning stage), to periodically review the project for compliance with these regulations, to verify the results on the finished product and to arrange the necessary acceptance tests. We carried out detailed research based on the information provided by the manufacturer and defined the guidelines, standards and regulations that needed to be considered. Target/actual comparisons were carried out in regular discussions and solutions worked out together. We created supporting documents and the basic outline of the operating and maintenance instructions as development continued. Initial tests on the prototypes were carried out together to verify that the results recorded were as expected.

Progress developed a mesh welding plant that’s 80m in length and 30m in width. The system uses the latest automation technology to weld bespoke mesh in longitudinal and transverse sections with the highest workplace safety and manageable costs. Bespoke mesh with variable spacing, dimensions and wire diameters can be custom-made according to CAD-CAM specifications. We supported the project from the very beginning and handled product safety in accordance with the Machinery Directive, the Low Voltage Directive and the EMC Directive as well as compliance with relevant technical standards. We also prepared user-friendly safety arrangements and created technical documentation as well as the required supporting documents, operating and maintenance instructions and acceptance documentation.
