Terms and Conditions for Training Courses
1. General information
1.2. Registration
The registration is valid from the time the participants enter their details and entitles them to attend the event concerned. The registration deadline is three working days before the start of the training course. Should an event become over-subscribed, registrations will be considered on a first come first served basis.
If changes are made to the venue or duration of the event, the participants or the person named as the contact person will be informed in due time using the contact details provided.
The registration is binding and obliges the participant or the company to pay the cancellation fees (see 1.8 Cancellation and refunds).
The registering company or the participants shall check whether they meet the participation requirements. If you have any questions, please contact SYSTENT either by telephone or e-mail. The contact details can be found on the website www.systent.it under the menu option concerned.
1.3. Language
The event will be held in the language specified in the event description. All relevant documents will be issued as a PDF in the same language.
1.4. Loss of the right to participate
SYSTENT and the instructor on site reserve the right to exclude participants from the event in case of justified failure or misconduct, such as late payment, no show, wilful disruption, disrespectful behaviour or failure to follow safety instructions.
1.5. Prices
The event prices are exclusive of VAT and do not generally include food and drink, unless otherwise stated for specific events.
1.6. Payment of the event fee
Corporate clients: Payment shall be made after invoices are raised. The payment term is of 10 days after the date of issue.
Private clients: The attendance fee shall be paid by bank transfer no later than 7 days before the start of the event, stating the event and the name of the participant or, where there are several participants, the name of the company.
1.7. Certificates of attendance
At the end of the event, each participant will receive a certificate, provided that they were present for 90% of the scheduled event time and no other legal regulations stand to the contrary.
Certificates of attendance are issued in Italian and German.
If the event also includes an examination, this will be indicated on the certificate of attendance in the event of successful completion.
For SYSTENT events, the participant may request a copy of the certificate in PDF format in writing by providing proof of identity.
1.8. Cancellation and refunds
If the participant withdraws after confirmation of registration from 28 to 7 days before the start of the event, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
If the participant cancels at a later time, the entire fee must be paid.
1.9. Cancellation
If events cannot take place for unforeseeable reasons, SYSTENT shall be entitled to cancel an event, even if it is in progress.
Participants will be informed immediately after the reasons become known using the contact details provided.
SYSTENT accepts no liability for any travel or accommodation costs incurred as a result, or for delays in the transmission of information. All registered participants have the right to attend the event at a later date.
If SYSTENT is unable to define a follow-up date for the seminar, the participant shall be entitled to attend a different seminar of equal value or will receive a refund of the seminar fees paid.
1.10. Data protection
The data collected during registration is required for the execution and implementation of the event and the participant or the contracting company agrees to the data being stored and processed by SYSTENT. The information required to identify the participants must be passed on to the relevant instructors.
Image, sound and video recordings made during the event may be used and published by SYSTENT for its own purposes. This also includes documents or objects developed jointly during the event. The participant has the right to object to this at any time.
1.11. Liability
SYSTENT or the instructors on site undertake to monitor the protective measures required for the implementation of the event and, in case of reasonable doubt, reserve the right to postpone the event and repeat it at a different time and/or location or to prevent persons from attending the seminar.
SYSTENT assumes no liability for damages caused by wilful acts or failure to follow the instructions of the instructor and shall not be liable for any damage or loss of items or property belonging to the participants.
